Jas, a Hindu boy, belongs to a very rich family, has a very good Muslim friend named Javed, who comes from a poor family. Jas loves & respects Javed as if God is on earth. Javed is a small-time poet but Jas encourages him by getting his book published and even giving him his house to stay.

One day while they are watching TV, they see Archana (Singer) announcing that she is Javed’s fan and would like to meet him. Jas arranges their meeting. They fall in love and plan to marry in the court.

One day some ruffians attack Archana but Javed and Jas, with their full strength, face the ruffians. But Jas kills Javed by mistake. Javed, before dying, tells Archana that Jas should not get into problems. The next day, Javed’s family come to Mumbai without knowing that Javed is no more.
